For Mother’s Day, I ordered Chinese food from the Double Happiness Restaurant on Rosser Avenue. Couldn’t have Mom cooking today.
In Minnedosa, the past two days, I raised nearly 1400 dollars. We meet this 91 year old Ukranian woman who was alive and driving. She called Tony a sweetheart. She told me that her secret to a long life was to not stop. In her case, it was to not stop farming. One gentleman asked me if I was retired. I answered that I was piecing together a living still.
At the church, I was able to nab books by Father Groeschel and Thomas Merton.
