I just saw on a Facebook post that someone’s bikes had been stolen. It was a mother saying her two children had their bikes stolen. She even published photos of the bikes in hopes that they would be spotted. Long shot! said one of the commentators.
I bought Tony a bike so that he could ride it to school. Hearing everyone talk about bikes being stolen even if you secure them with good locks, we’re scared to let him do this.
My son Tony first noticed a lot of police vehicles down the street from my Mom’s house. He asked me to investigate. So, I left the house and walked down the street where I meet a neighbor who told me what was happening: a drug bust at a house that parents had gifted to their children, and they subsequently turned into a drug den. A big armored swat vehicle had been used in the bust. My son claims he heard a gunshot from the locale.
