Easter Sunday: 8:22 AM

Boy. Did I sleep in this morning! Three hours past my usual wake up time.  But I had an excuse.  The Easter Vigil kept me up past midnight.

Simone Weil:  “ I must love being nothing. How horrible it would be if I were something! I must love my nothingness, love being a nothingness.”  During the Vigil, I thought how I was nothing.

Thursday of the Last Week of Christmas: 8:15 AM

Or the third day of the Octave of the Epipihany.

I’ll take view photos when the sun comes out.

Today’s video upload:

A Simone Weil quote.

Don’t be tainted by Suffering

This is against the ethos of the Canadian regime, but as Mother Angelica says, give it up to God.

Monday 6:17 AM: streak and videos

I woke up at 5:30 AM. I felt like I overslept.

The Duolingo streak is up to:

8 days till Lou Gehrig.

I uploaded this video last night;

It was recorded on Saturday.  Hundreds of views in China; two in Canada.

This is a Simone Weil quote video.  It is fairly longish.  I recorded it in two clips.  Hundreds of views in China; not thousands as I’m hoping to have had.

On the agenda today: a bank deposit, an online class, and dinner at Weiming Zhao’s.

Simone Weil

I made this short video with A.I.

Simone Weil is a major spiritual influence for me.

Waiting to drop off my son at school

I sent off two job applications.

I extended my Duolingo streak to 2053 days.  I am sixty days away from tying Lou Gehrig’s streak.

I uploaded this video:

Watch the video and buy me a coffee!

Back to School in Canada, sort of.

Tony's first day back to school will be on Thursday, September 4.

Today, Tuesday afternoon, he will see a counsellor at Neelin High School who will tell him what exactly he will be studying in his grade 12 year.

I will be trying to make money and find a job.

I have a few students for online tutoring but it is not earning much income at the moment.  I have meet some interesting people from all the over the world.  I appreciate how they are not as shy as the Chinese students I taught all these years.

I will be going to the Manitoba Public Insurance office to see if I can get an earlier date for my road test.  Currently, I am booked to take it October 1, which is very annoying.

This is the video I uploaded to YouTube this morning:

This video gets added to my Simone Weil playlist.  Be sure to visit and help pad my stats! I thought I give the old NGD a rest for a day.

Ten Hours Aho

We dropped off Jenny at the Airport. Ten hours later, she’s still on the page.
