Wearing my red Montréal Expos Cap

 I wore my Expos cap to Sobey’s, or as I likely to say SO beys.  I encountered a gentleman wearing a teal blue hoodie with the Expos logo on it.  

He complimented me on my cap.  I should have complimented him on his hoodie, but the first thing that came to mind was to say: Bring the Expos back! He heartily agree with my statement.  I then thought to say that the Blue Jays weren’t Canada’s team.  He agreed with that sentiment too.

I then saw a man wearing a Blue Jays cap and a Blue Jays hoodie. I could have sworn he looked at me, with my Expos cap, a little askance.

I lost interest in the Jays after they won their two World Series championships.  The story arch of that achievement was such that it didn’t need a sequel,
