I followed hockey in my youth so the passing of Ken Dryden means a lot to me. He played seven seasons and his team won the Stanley Cup five times. He played in game 8 of the '72 Summit Series. He had quite the career.
In China, I didn't follow the game so close, merely occasionally looking at the the standings. I don't think I could name a goalie in the NHL today. And with all their equipment, the goalies don't stand out in one's mind like Ken Dryden and Tony Esposito did in the past.
