I broke the handle in this thing a couple weeks ago. (The damage is on the other side of the door. I won’t show it.)
Three days later, I bought the replacement handle set.
A week or so later, I finally replaced it.
It took a couple hours to get the job done. It was tricky to line up properly the things necessary to attach the push button to the latch. The three things were the two machine screws and the spindle with spring. When initially I got them lined up, the screws were too long. This caused me to use bad language. I had to get some washers to solve this problem.
Two hours lost. Good thing I did it today at a time when I had no time constraints.
